About these guides
These guides answer the questions Dr. Sanjit Gogoi hears most often in the consultation room on Sarjapur Main Road: does this need surgery, can it wait, which signs are urgent, and what recovery really involves. Each one is written in plain English and reviewed by Dr. Sanjit for medical accuracy.
They are general education, not a diagnosis or a substitute for a consultation. Every patient is different, and the right plan depends on an examination, your scans and your overall health. If something here sounds familiar, book a consultation or send your report on WhatsApp to +91 99160 26256.
HerniaCan a hernia heal without surgery?

GallbladderCan gallbladder stones go away on their own?
Rarely. Gallstones usually stay once they form, and tablets dissolve only certain small stones, which often return. Stones that cause no symptoms are often just watched; stones that cause pain are usually treated with keyhole surgery.

Piles are swollen cushions of blood vessels, a fissure is a small tear and a fistula is a tunnel that leaks pus. Their symptoms overlap, so bleeding or lasting pain from the back passage deserves an examination.
